Director, Information Technology & Business Services

The Authority invites suitably qualified applicants for the following contractual position: Director, Information Technology & Business Services (MIS/IT 7) (Pay Band 10) salary range $6,333,301 – $8,517,586 per annum. Job Purpose: Under the general direction of the Director, Human Resource Management & Administration, the Director, Information Technology (IT) and Business Services manages the day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT-enabled business support services and all information assets across the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA). The Director, Information Technology and Business Services facilitates the provision of electronic information systems/applications to enable improved efficiency and productivity of the divisions/departments using appropriate information processing technologies and business services in the most cost-effective manner.

Data Protection Officer

The Authority invites suitably qualified applicants for the following contractual position: Data Protection Officer (GMG/SEG 2) (Band 8) - Salary $4,266,270 to $5,737,658 per annum. Job Purpose: Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Data Protection Officer has the responsibility to monitor compliance and data practices to ensure the Authority and its functions comply with the applicable legislative requirements under the Data Protection Act (2020) in the processing of the personal data of its staff, customers, providers or any other individuals. The Data Protection Officer will serve as the primary contact for supervisory authorities and individuals whose data is processed by the Authority.

Director, Human Resource Management and Administration

The Authority invites suitably qualified applicants for the following contractual position: Director, Human Resource Management and Administration (GMG/SEG 4) (Band 10) - Salary $6,333,301 to $8,517,586 per annum. Job Purpose: The Director works in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, providing leadership across the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) and ensuring that internal governance, change/transformation initiatives, planning, policies, supporting strategies, procedures and systems enhance Authority capability and capacity to deliver client focused, efficient, effective and value for money services. The Director also plays a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the Authority and the wider Medical Cannabis Industry.

Policy Coordinator

The Authority invites suitably qualified applicants for the following contractual position: Policy Coordinator (GMG/SEG 2) (Band 8) - Salary $4,266,270 to $5,737,658 per annum. Job Purpose: The incumbent will provide high level technical and operational support to the office of the Chief Executive Officer with a view to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Authority pursuits of its mandate and strategic objectives. This includes stakeholder management, monitoring and co-ordinating the preparation, progress of policy initiatives/proposals, as well as all other critical activities (both internal and external), contributing to the development of strategic/corporate plans, budget and all other corporate matters assigned by the CEO.
